Features of economic forecasting which is considered as the system of perspective development design of the region and the mechanism of receiving of the macroeconomic estimates are presented in the monograph. The emphasis is placed on the development of the tools, special methods and models of the long-term forecasting. The methodical and instrumental scheme and model tools are developed. It is shown that out of the set of model types for the purposes of regional forecasting structural models on the basis of «input-output» methodology are the most suitable. Alternative calculations are carried out and quantitative estimates of the main macroeconomic indicators of the Far East's economy till 2030-2050 are received.
