Ecological specialization of the rodents of the Baltic countries — Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania — was studied using ecology-dependent morphological characters the form of body and cranium was described and compared with ecological data. The results were used for determination of the trends and levels of specialisation, reconstruction of adaptive morphogenesis, and description of ecomorphological diversity.
