The monograph is devoted to the study of small nations on the example of small nations in Siberia. The author pays special attention to the problems concerning ecological and cultural characteristics, ethnical peculiarities of family conduct and points to demographic and socio-economical characteristics like factors, having the biggest impact on the steadiness of small nation. In the monograph is featured the study of the process of reproduction (birth, death, marriage and divorce rates), forming (migration, assimilation), as well as employment and adaptation of small ethnical groups to new economic conditions.
