This book is the result of an inter-museum publishing project implemented with the grant support of the President of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Culture of the Arkhangelsk Region. It publishes for the first time images of little-known ethnographic objects that were in use in the 17th-20th centuries in the territory of Povazh'e, from the collections of the Russian Ethnographic Museum, the Velsk, Ust'yansk, Shenkursk local history museums of the Arkhangelsk Region and the Verkhovazhsky Historical and Art Museum of the Vologda Region. The publication is provided with subject, name and geographical indices.
