Arnost Rosin, a native of Snina, was one of the millions of Auschwitz prisoners and one of those who managed to escape from the death camp. He fled together with Pole Czieslaw Mordowicz in a way similar to that used by Alfred Wetzler and Rudolf Vrba shortly before. Rosin was a co-author of a report that showed the world what was actually happening in concentration camps.
