The book is devoted to an urgent topic - the ecology of the world. It examines the theoretical problems of the relationship of “everything with everything” in the world (the biosphere, noosphere, semiosphere), the natural science and humanitarian prerequisites for such an approach to its structure. Ecolinguistics is characterized as a science of the ecology of the semiosphere, the foundations of this discipline are highlighted: the concept of the semiosphere by Yu. M. Lotman, the teachings of V.I. Vernadsky on the biosphere and noosphere, and the laws of ecology of B. Kommoner.
The problems of language ecology as an important part of the semiosphere are considered, the role of fiction in environmental education, education and upbringing is described.
