Galicia, the end of the XIX century. Galician Governor Casimir Badeni, his brother, Galician Sejm ambassador Stanislav Badeni, and Imperial Finance Minister Julian von Dunayevsky are embarking on carpet games to promote the governor to the presidency. Julian wants to become Minister of Foreign Affairs. However, the brothers and the minister have completely different views on the political process. Overcoming all sorts of obstacles and difficulties, Ian is constantly working to promote the party. Due to the Baden brothers' distrust of Julian and their intrigues against him, he was fired, but von Dunaevsky never found out what caused it. The brothers initiate political processes that they themselves cannot always control.
