Nikolai Ivanovich’s literary destiny is woven from unusual, sometimes very difficult events. Officer, police general, writer, publicist, he accomplished a lot in his life. He played football at a professional level and, as a policeman, solved many crimes. A separate test in his life was fulfilling his international duty in the Democratic Republic of Afghanistan. The pages of his books, his novels, which in past decades and today are very popular, are about this. And Nikolai Cherginets is a well-known politician, participant and witness of many cornerstone events of the Belarusian and world political agenda.
