Today the topic of future is very popular among the Russian intellectuals. In its different aspects and phenomena it becomes the object of the experts’ analysis, forecasting reflection and even of the artistic description and representation. This keen interest in future has several explanations. On the one hand the reason can be the growing intellectual dissatisfaction about the vapid public discussion, concerning vital problems of the further development of the country and society, and about the political agenda, reduced to the material aspects of well-being. On the other hand, it can be explained by the transition of the society from a regime of survival, typical for the 1990s, to the one of satiation, when there is no need any more to care about the simple vital maintenance every day.
