The discovery by V.A.Chudinov of the new cultural sphere at the boundary of the Russian literature and visual art culture challenges the traditional ideas concerning the distinction between hand-written and printed texts. The writers of the XIXth century, for instance A.S.Pushkin, created drawings with hidden text messages, addressed only to the initiated. The author analyzes over hundred of drawings and studies the origins of this tradition and the reasons of its decrease in the mid-XIXth century.
