The book brings to the attention of readers the correspondence of Vasily Vasilyevich Rozanov (1856 - 1919) with his first publisher, writer, art critic and original philosopher Pyotr Petrovich Pertsov (1868 - 1947). An intensive exchange of views on the most burning issues of life was maintained between correspondents for more than two decades. This epistolary complex is very significant in volume (498 letters) and, despite some losses, has been preserved quite completely.
