This monograph is the result of a scientific study. For the first time, the domestic experience of preparing a consolidated catalog of cartographic materials on the history of Kazakhstan in the 17th - early 20th centuries is presented, as a result of a comprehensive scientific interdisciplinary study. The consolidated catalog includes 455 "old" maps of Russian and European editions. When creating a consolidated catalog, a unified bibliographic description of cartographic materials was developed. The results of the research work will allow for a visual demonstration of the general context of events in the history of Kazakhstan in time and space.
