The first part of the edition is Juhury-Russian dictionary and contains more 14000 words and expressions. The language of the Mountain Jews belongs to south-western group of Iranian languages and has a considerable number of borrowings from Azerbaijanian language and Hebrew. The second part is the most comprehensive Russian-Juhury dictionary so far produced and contains around 20000 Russian entries. The dictionary is based on the southern dialect (spoken in the city of Kuba in Azerbaijan).
