This monograph is mainly devoted to the unknown pages of the life and activities of the party, state and public figure of the USSR and the BSSR, one of the leaders of the internal affairs and state security bodies of the Georgian SSR, Belarusian SSR and the whole USSR LF Tsanava (1900–1955). All major events in Belarus of 1938-1951 are directly or indirectly connected with the life of this person. In preparing the book, funds from archives and museums of a number of countries, especially Belarus and Russia, including recently declassified documents were used.
