The book covers conceptual approaches to social service process and results. The author discusses methodic recommendations for results, quality and effectiveness assessment. The meanings of such notions as quality and effectiveness are determined. Different approaches to social service quality assurance are considered. The results of the investigation carried out in 2006 with the support of the Ministry of Health and social support of Saratov Region and Independent institute of social policy are discussed.
