The collection is dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941–1945. It included articles by archivists, historians, librarians, local historians, teachers, graduate students, students and schoolchildren. The publication covers the topics of the history of archival and librarianship in the Urals during the war years, combat path of military units and biographies of combatants, wartime economy and various aspects of the daily life of the home front, letters and memoirs of front-line soldiers are published, as well as various forms of memorial practices aimed at preserving the memory of the war.
