It's hard to say anything about the place and time where the events of the book occur, but one thing is certain: the story is incredibly true. While all architects follow the Bureau's instructions to ensure that the fates of the people entrusted to them do not deviate from their course, our architect seeks an opportunity to save the fate of one ballerina. After two years of hesitation, a series of circumstances compels him to defy the Bureau of Architects and interfere with the mechanism of fate management.
