Amre Kashaubayev (1888 - 1934) was a Kazakh Soviet singer (dramatic tenor), actor, musician, one of the founders of the Kazakh national theatrical art. He was the first Kazakh to ever travel to Europe to perform on stage. Amre's life and death were unspoken of in the society for many years.
