The album-catalog is the first systematized collection of museum items related to the life and work of A.V. Sukhovo-Kobylin and the history of his family, from the collection of the Dal State Museum of the History of Russian Literature, which contains materials about the playwright himself, about his sisters - the writer Yevgenia Tur and the artist Sofya Sukhovo-Kobylina, as well as about his nephew, the historical novelist Yevgeny Salias. The publication includes creative manuscripts and documents, previously unpublished texts, lifetime editions with inscriptions and portraits - pictorial and graphic, daguerreotypes, negatives and photographs from the family archive, many - with donations from family members, family heirlooms, illustrations.
