The monograph aims at characterizing Lithuanian agriculture, problems and achievements, as well as comparing 2002 with the previous years. Economic and social situation in Lithuania is rather complicated, as unemployment rates are high and incomes are low, alternative business is not observed at all. The survey is an attempt to analyze the reasons of the problem in order to ameliorate it.
