The book consists of two parts. The first, The Exploit of Skarina, is devoted to the opening of the memorial plate in honor of Francisk Skarina, the famous Belarusian scientist and enlightener, installed in the University of Padova. The second, The Polonaise of Hope, tells us about Mikhail Oginski, the prominent Belarusian composer and musician, and about the memorial plate to M.Oginsky installed in Florence, where he spent his last years.
