The book of the indefatigable traveler and skier Vladimir Sharko is an attempt to reconstruct the events that took place in January 1959 with a group of tourist students of the Ural Polytechnic Institute under the leadership of Igor Dyatlov, who went to a remote region of the Northern Urals and died under unknown circumstances.
