The scientific conference “Study of Mongolian Personal Names in the Middle Ages” was held on May 29, 2023 in the Great Assembly Hall of the Academy of Sciences. This scientific conference was the first scientific conference on the study of Mongolian personal names in the Middle Ages organized in our country. 21 researchers from 12 scientific institutions from 5 countries participated in the conference and analyzed and discussed the meaning, symbolism, and use of Mongolian personal names in the Middle Ages from the perspectives of history, ethnography, culture, and linguistics. 12 reports by 12 researchers were published in the proceedings.
