Manuel Augusto Fragata de Morais was born in Uige, Angola, in 1941.
Writer of an already extensive work, this diplomat lent to politics, he is today a Member of Parliament and past Deputy Minister of Education and Culture. He also was a journalist, actor, metteur en scene, film maker, having studied at International University of Theater in Paris (1967/8) and at Nederlands Filmakademy, in Amsterdam (1973/4).
