The book tells about the life of P. A. Evdokimov (1894-1965), who graduated from the Naval Corps in St. Petersburg and began his service in the Russian Empire. He went on to serve in the navy in the Soviet Union. In 1937 he was awarded the Order of Lenin, and in 1938 he was arrested on false charges. Released in 1940. He met the war in the Baltic Fleet. Got captured. A sister living in Berlin was able to snatch her brother free. P.A. Evdokimov finished his life in Washington.
