The research is devoted to the formation and functioning of the Traditional Culture Museum named after Zaya Pandit at the Kalmyk Institute of Human Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
The author analyzes the activity of prominent Kalmyk painter Garya Rokchinsky. The book comprises colorful illustrations of his works dedicated to Kalmykia, its history, people and folklore.
