The book is devoted to the history of the Yugoslavian peoples in the XXth century. On the basis of contemporary literature and accessible sources database the authors trace the foundation of the Yugoslavian state in 1918, formation of its institutions and political systems. Much attention is paid to the Second World War, the period of socialist Yugoslavia, which ended in the so-called Yugoslavian crisis, i.e. the collapse of the state and inter-ethnic civil wars.
