“Writer’s Diary” presents the searches and the process of development of the philosophic and political ideas of the great Russian writer F.M.Dostoevsky. The volume comprises complete texts of the diary for 1873, 1876, 1877, 1880, and 1881, in which Dostoevsky analyzed moral, psychological, philosophical and geopolitical questions, topical for Russian and international political life in the second half of the XIXth century, revealed social and spiritual vices of his time and condemned the proponents of Western values.
