Witold Kaetanovich Bialynitsky-Birulya is a Russian, Soviet and Belarusian landscape painter, People's Artist of the BSSR and RSFSR, and a full member of the USSR Academy of Arts. Member of the Society of Mobile Art Exhibitions, the Union of Russian Artists. People's Artist of Belarus (1944) and the RSFSR (1947). Honorary Academician of the BSSR Academy of Sciences (1947), active member of the USSR Academy of Arts (1947). Bialynitski-Birula's paintings impress the viewer with emotion, a necessary measure of generalization, which does not lose the specificity of the place. The landscape painter skillfully developed the barely noticeable nuances characteristic of a particular time of day, a particular time of year. Paintings and numerous etudes are distinguished by a special subtlety, softness and unique lyricism, depth of perception and transmission of wildlife.
