For the first time, the diaries of four Belarusian writers of the Great Patriotic War are published under one cover. The uniqueness of each is that they reflect events in different military directions, are a peculiar geographical or toponymic indicator of the great ways of Victory. Mikola Loban, a participant in the fighting on the Leningrad front, was twice wounded. Anton Aleshko fought in the Great Patriotic War as a front-line doctor, first on the Western Front and then on the 3rd Belarusian Front. Pyotr Valkadaev's diary reveals the heroic and tragic pages of the partisan movement in the Mogilev region. Visarion Garbuk's records reflect the events of 1941-1945, connected with the defense of Moscow, the liberation of Belarus, Polyigichi, and the capture of Berlin.
