The book “Hostage of Three Letters” is not about SMA — spinal muscular atrophy. It is the story of a mother who fights every day for her son’s life. It is a book about a life in which there is a lot of silence, devices, sleepless nights, but even more — love, hope and pain that people rarely see. It is about how you can find light and love in a life filled with despair.
Liliya Leptsio, a mother and author, wrote this book to tell people about the real destinies of real children and parents, whose lives are spent in daily struggle. And, perhaps, someone will manage, like them, to rethink their lives and find strength where they see only emptiness.
