The monograph acquaints the reader with the rich jewelry business vocabulary of the Tatars that is related to the Tatar technical terms. For the first time the jewelry vocabulary is analyzed according to its thematic groups. The vocabulary was prepared by the author in the course of his expeditions to Tatarstan in the 1970s - 1990s, and expanded through the books on folklore, history, ethnography and other sources. The Tatar-Russian dictionary of the jewelry terms and a list of abbreviations are presented as well.
