Vladimir Dimitrov — the Master (1882–1960) was a Bulgarian painter, draughtsman and teacher. He is considered one of the most talented XXth century Bulgarian painters and probably the most remarkable stylist in Bulgarian painting in the post-Russo-Turkish War era. Today, there is hardly a Bulgarian for whom the Master is not recognizable as a work of art and an individual image, and for many it is a spontaneous personification of "Bulgarian fine art".
