Oksana Zelenchuk-Rybaruk was born in 1975 in the teacher's family in the picturesque Hutsul'shchyna region. She studied journalistics in the L'viv University. Now she works as a teacher of the Ukrainian studies. Published in numerous periodicals she is a laureate of the Ukrainian contest of Antonych. Her verses are a fresh stream in the Ukrainian poetry. On the other hand one may find her rather conservative due to her turning to the Christianity. Anyway, this is a poetess with the style of her own.
