To your attention is a collection of articles by Oksana Kowatska, a lecturer at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków, a representative of those Ukrainians for whom Ukraine has become not only a subject of study but also a concern - a desire to act for the common good and unite people to achieve this goal. The author's interest in such a goal was her interest in various fields of literary studies, primarily postcolonial criticism and imagology, the study of trauma and historical memory, military discourse, generational categories, and identity.
