If our capital is "Old Tbilisi" in the photos taken at the turn of the XIX-XX centuries, then the events described in this book, figuratively speaking, belong to "Old Tbilisi", because its construction, which the photos show us in the finished form, began much earlier. The book includes two biographical works written in Russian - Stefane Kishmishev's "Tbilisi in the 1940s" and Alexander Kishmishev's "Personal Memoirs". Both of them are from the history of Tbilisi. It depicts the period of Vorontsov's coronation (1845-1853). The translator Mikheil Shalvashvili used the newspaper "Kavkaz" of the mentioned period as the main source to verify the facts given in the book.
