This book tells about the emergence and development of the Royal Hunt in the Crimea, which took place simultaneously with the formation of similar structures in the famous Belovezhskaya Pushcha and Spala. The history of these lands is inextricably linked through the last three Emperors of Russia, who were very fond of hunting, through well-known hunting experts and gamekeepers who did a lot to improve the hunting business in our country. On the basis of previously unknown documents, the diaries of the Emperors, the memoirs of the employees of the Hunt and their descendants, the author tells about how the process of hunting in the Crimea was organized with the participation of the August Persons and their distinguished guests. Much attention is paid to the period from 1913 to 1917, when the talented Polish hunting expert Edmund Vladislavovich Wagner was the head of the Crimean Highest Hunt. Readers will learn many new interesting facts, hunting stories, illustrated by previously unpublished documents and photographs.
