The monograph is devoted to a comprehensive study of the originals of traditional sarafans of the Perm region. The study and analysis were conducted on the basis of archival, published, museum and ethnographic sources obtained as a result of expeditions. The author examined the forms, types of designs and varieties of sarafans by cut, materials, decor, sewing technology of hand stitches, lines, seams, knots and their interrelation.
