The monograph summarizes the theoretical and methodological foundations of the study of tourism as a factor in the socio-economic development of territories; by applying an interindustry balance, the economic effects for Russia and its regions from stimulating demand for tourism services were assessed; Peculiarities of consumption of tourism services in the constituent entities of the North-Western Federal District have been identified. The losses for the economy of Russia and the Vologda region from the reduction in population demand for tourism services are calculated. A forecast of domestic tourism consumption in Russia until 2035 has been completed, and scenario modeling has been carried out. Based on the use of geographic information modeling, locations for automobile gas stations were designed on sections of highways connecting the Vologda region and the Republic of Karelia. The transport accessibility of tourist infrastructure facilities in the Vologda region has been determined. The infrastructural accessibility of electric vehicle charging points for travelers visiting tourist attractions in the regions of the Northwestern Federal District was assessed.
