The collection contains documents from the funds of the Stalingrad Battle Museum-Reserve (Volgograd), which are part of a significant epistolary collection of 1,720 letters, telegrams, postcards and congratulatory addresses from residents of the Polish People's Republic sent to the heroic defenders of Stalingrad and residents of this city in connection with the anniversary of the victorious end of the Battle of Stalingrad, celebrated on February 2, 1950.
