The Memory Book includes lists of participants in the Great Patriotic War, drafted into the Armed Forces by the Mezen District Military Commissariat, and fellow countrymen called up by other military commissariats.
The book also includes the names of the participants in the war - natives of other regions who have long lived in the Mezen district after the war.
The lists are divided into three parts: military personnel who died in the war, military personnel who returned from the war, and those whose fate remained unknown. At the end of the book is a chronicle of events in the Mezen district during the war.
