The monograph sets out the theoretical and practical problems of dispositiveness in the law of succession, suggests ways to address them, and develops proposals to improve the current inheritance law of Ukraine. The following basic models of disparity in inheritance law are highlighted and analyzed: freedom of will, contractual form of regulation of inheritance relations, freedom of expression of the will of the heir to accept the inheritance and refuse to accept it.
