Boris Pasternak is one of the greatest lyrical poets of the XXth century. During more than semi-centennial period of his activities, he created poems that became part of world poetry treasury. In 1958 Pasternak was awarded the Nobel Prize for his novel "Doktor Zhivago". In contrast to many contemporaries, he managed to "save his face" and to show broadly the picture of the world. The offered title of selected works includes poems of 1912-1959, the poem in verse "Spektorskii" and an autobiographical sketch by Pasternak.
