You can browse the seven year old newspaper if you want. Or pee in the charts and statistics if you feel like your life isn't boring enough. But none of this will capture the bluntness we were surrounded with so perfectly and authentically as the jokes we laughed at all the time. All those characters and their tragicomic prophecies, which, in the words of a classic, have been lost to us here, capture a simple joke much better than a complicated analysis.
The cynical monster made them more than three thousand in the first seven years of its existence. From them, the author carefully selected four hundred of the best, most popular, most concise and those who most outraged Andrej Danka. He divided them thematically into ten chapters according to which phenomena they dealt with - from Fico, through stories from a country staggering between Russia and civilization, the Christian struggle for a return to the Middle Ages, the rise of the Nazis, the plight of the comic opposition, figures more ridiculous than funny, to for the sport and history of the mafia state. He wrote a short essay about each of them, and you get a perfect chronicle of seven years, where everything essential is told by striking points in brief bubbles instead of lengthy sauces. The history of the seven years of Slovakia, its inhabitants, the surrounding world and yourself, which objectively might rather be cried over, but in this form, you will first and foremost have a royal fun.
