The tetralogy was created based on the real criminal case No. 65181, which was investigated in 1951 by a police captain, deputy head of the First Department of the First Department of the Investigative Part of the Moscow City Police Department - the Moscow Criminal Investigation Department, the MUS, the famous MUR, Verevkin Ivan Ivanovich, father the author of the book.
