The proposed book, written on the basis of personal testimonies of citizens of our republic, shows the fate of direct participants in hostilities on the territory of nine countries of the world, presents the history of these wars. From the war in the DPRK to the collapse of the USSR in December 1991, Soviet military personnel participated in 14 wars or armed conflicts that took place in various regions of the world. However, in the Soviet Union itself, only a limited circle of people knew about this. Any reliable information on this topic was ordered to be kept secret from Soviet citizens. Meanwhile, tens of thousands of Soviet soldiers and officers fought in different parts of the planet.
