"The territory of the beast" is the world and space of man, who has found a balance between human and animal nature. Mythologism, an expression of expressionist admiration for decline, the urge to die, and surreal images from dreams on the verge of nightmares - what is more real than "real" according to Jacques Lacan? "The territory of the beast" is an attempt to create a poetic book of a single mood. It is an attempt, because no world is monolithic in its almost typical contradiction.
