The monogarph does justice to a number of issues concerning the relations between the Sefevidian State and the Mogul Empire in the XVI-XVIIth centuries. The authors A.F.Farzaliev and R.Mamedova have studied and put into scientific use the sources, gathered in the collected letters under the title "Munsha at-i Salatin" (Sultans' Correspondence) kept in the Institute of Manuscripts (Azerbaijan). The materials enable obtaining valuable information, which can't be found in chronicles, the rulers' biographies, regional histories and other treatises.
