The book is about the historical and archeological reserve of Sboryanovo in northeastern Bulgaria, the former site of the capital of the Thracian tribe of the Getae. The Thracian Tomb of Sveshtari, inscribed on UNESCO's World Heritage List, is part of the complex. The book was compiled by journalist and photographer Dragomir Bogomilov, who has taken part in the archeological exploration of Sboryanovo over the last 10 years and was the first person to photograph the unique gold treasure discovered there in 2012. The book presents intriguing facts and theories about the mounds, hoards, tombs, temples and sanctuaries explored at Sboryanovo so far. The text is complemented by 100 fascinating photos.
