A new approach to the Russian Revolution offered in the work by the prominent Ukrainian Doctor of Historical Studies, Professor Staislav Kul'chyt'skyi consists in consideration of democratic and soviet streams. The author proves the idea that the victory of the Bolsheviks in the Revolution of 1917 was the result of the takeover of the majority of soviets, mostly the popularly elected assemblies that existed at the front and in the cities, which enabled Lenin to intercept the soviet slogans of the Revolution.
